Imagine a big old book. A book opened a million years ago, rich with millions of stories. The book of humankind. As studious ants, each human writes his own sentence, the sentence of their life. Some sentences are shorter than others and all are full of different life stories. Everybody is a writer, writing his own life…

My sentence is far from finished. I've already written some words of love, friendship, dance, happiness, travels and dreams… I began to write in French and then came words in African, afterwards I used English. All are the heart’s languages, written with the same passion.

This year in Ireland has opened a bracket in my sentence, mixing English and a few Irish words. I will close these brackets soon; nonetheless I know that this Irish part of my life will be essential to writing and understanding the next part of my sentence.

Closing this bracket does not mean placing a point or a semicolon; it means that a vibrant adventure has been written. An experience rich with meetings and magic, decorated with smiles and colours and with Celtic music in the background. You can read moments of doubts and serenity, along with many enjoyable discoveries. Moreover, this part between brackets represents a huge step in discovering my identity, whilst opening some doors to my future. I know that I want to enrich my sentence with more travels and meetings.

When the time comes to place the final full stop, I would like to look at my sentence with pride, serenity, happiness and nostalgia. Even if I will not get the chance to read the book until the end, I hope future generations will enjoy the words, writing their own sentences and giving a happy end to our book.
