Six billion stars

Six billion stars,
Six billion lives,
Six billion minds,
Six billion breaths,
Six billion voices,
Six billion smiles,
Six billion stories,
Six billion souls,
Six billion hearts,
Each with their own problems,
Each with their own joys.
Each and every one with a tale to tell;
Each with a song to sing, a war to win.
Yet in all six billion stars that shine,
In all six billion flowers that bloom,
I can walk through the forest
And look into the sky and think
Of all six billion stars that came to be
You’re the one and only star for me.
