Simple solutions

All I need is someone who listens...

Oh, come on and give me a break
I’m not listening to this silly old fake
He’s tellin’ me that I’m suffering delusions
But it’s obvious to me that he’s possessed by illusions.

Yeah, I’m the one who’s ‘mentally quite ill’
according to the man who’s supplyin’ the pills
But I’m not too confused to question his advice
I’ve got burnt before, it won’t happen twice.

What I need doesn’t need science or money
it’s a cure that’s so simple it’s not even funny
But no one seems bothered about what I have to say
They prefer to look at the problem in their own way.

All I need is someone who listens
to my problems and feelings and silly transmission
I’m just looking for time, patience and friendship
that’s all it takes to end all my hardship.
