Sadness

Poetry: As the black clouds darken the sky above...

As the black clouds darken the sky above,
The sun has vanished and with it my love,
The world will keep spinning and weaving to and fro,
For tomorrow will arrive and no-one shall know.
The knife cutting into me deep and sharp,
No brightness to be seen only the dark,
The picture in my mind of the beautiful moon,
Those great times were ended too soon.
The rain is falling and gushing down,
But why is it not taking away the pain?
It may go for a while but will always return,
And with it each time comes a new burn.
For when I remember the good I remember the sad,
For when I remember the sun I remember those clouds
That came and hid the sun from us all
The things that arrived that made us fall.

No matter what the question or the problem, there is always someone that can help. Even if it’s a problem that you are not sure about, it’s better to ask for help or advice than to struggle on alone. If you need to talk to someone right now then contact one of the organisations listed here.
