Hide and seek
Poetry: To hide from taunts and jeers...
Article by : SpunOut.ie
Hide and Seek, three simple words,
To most a childhood game, no more,
But to others those words have meaning,
They are a way of life.
To hide from taunts and jeers
Of those with biased views,
To hide from those who've done you wrong,
Though they deserve your pity.
To seek acceptance of your peers,
To seek your own identity,
In hope that you will find one place...
The place where you belong.
