You’re the cinema screen that
grabs everyone’s attention.
I’m the reluctant footballer who
Won’t always play the game.
I’m the failed edition that’s
truths are not for sale.
I’m the punk record that
shuns conformity.
I’m the usher directing those in the dark,
not sure where to go from there.
We’re far apart yet both here.
A very fine line between us.
You’re just you and I’m just me
and okay, this is just the way we are.
So excuse me when I throw
as you look down.
