Break free
Poetry: Waiting on a change.
She lies there in her heartache,
Screams into her pillow,
For a better tomorrow.
And you would think,
It’s over a boy,
But it’s not.
She can’t find her place in this twisted world,
She needs to break free,
Get out of this town.
Before she drowns in her sorrows,
Before she gets sucked back into this nightmare,
She can’t wake up from.
