All about Seomra Spraoi
Do you know about Dublin's autonomous social centre?
Seomra Spraoi is an independent social centre based in Dublin. It is run by a collective and is based on anti capitalism and pro equality principles. It runs on a not for profit basis and is used as a venue for meetings, gigs, workshops, language lessons, film screenings and more. Seomra Spraoi also runs a vegan cafe in the centre.
The centre’s main aim is to be a vibrant hub for those who want to make a difference in the world and to experience a life beyond consumerism and money.
There are tons of classes and meetings happing at Seomra Spraoi. Here is a sample of some of them:
Mondays
Spanish Lessons - 6.30 p.m.-8 p.m. Come along and pick up some beginners Spanish.
Wednesdays
Cafe night at the vegan cafe shop -7.30 p.m.-8.30 p.m. Come chow down on vegan grub.
Bike workshop – 6 p.m.-9 p.m. Learn all about how to fix your bike and how to keep it going on the road. It’s the most eco friendly way to travel.
Thursdays
General community meetings on the running of Seomra Spraoi.
