Young parent survival guide

New guide for young parents now available online from Treoir.

The Young Parent Survival Guide is a magazine for young parents, both mothers and fathers. The magazine has loads of supportive information and tips for young parents, including: Pregnant and panicking, Coping with doctors, Hospitals and clinics, 10 survival tips for mums, 10 top tips for brand new dads, Money for you and your baby, Legal jargon – what it means and how the law works. The magazine also asks Is there school after baby? and much more.

The Young Parent Survival Guide was prepared by people working directly with young parents, including the Teen Parents Support Programme, the Teen Clinic in the Rotunda Hospital and young mothers on the St. Catherine’s Moving On Programme in Carlow. The magazine is developed by Treoir and funded by the Crisis Pregnancy Agency.
