Snap out of it and get thankful!

My letter of gratitude for today.

Article by : SpunOut.ie

I do this small exercise for myself every night before I go to bed. It’s a gratitude letter. When I heard of them I found them very inspirational, so maybe mine will be the same to someone else...

Thank you, God, for giving me this day here on earth to live to the best of my abilities.

Thank you for my bed, my duvet, my sheets, my wardrobe, my clothes, my TV, my pjs, my pillows, my curtains, my books, my slippers, my mirror, my window.

Thank you for my mam, my breakfast, my dog, the TV downstairs, the bathroom, water, toiletries, towels, shoes, accessories, the ironing board, the iron, the nice smelling ironing water, the washing machine, the washing powder, the washing line.

Thank you for my car, the shops, the friendly sales assistants, my developed photos, parking spaces, my steering wheel, my car seats, my mirrors and windows, my wheels, my radio, my central locking, my purse.

Thank you for my money, trees, oxygen, air, the roads, footpaths, grass, signage, traffic lights, indicators, and petrol.

Thank you for my granny, exercise, playing with my dog, laughing, joking, smiling, telling myself I’m terrific in the morning and I love myself at night in the mirror,

Thank you for my mp3, my work uniform, my job, my work colleagues, the kindness and friendliness, and helpfulness they show, my makeup, my socks, my hand bag, my locker, the supermarket, recipes, the fun of looking for and buying ingredients,

For communication, routine, order, for calendars, for pens and paper, for the internet, for confidence, for my can do attitude.

I have loved my day through all the positive ways I’ve perceived it. I hope that tomorrow will be an even better great day.

And I hope my sleep is now filled with lovely good dreams.
