Christianity

This is just a quick introduction to the beliefs of Christianity, there's LOADS more important stuff if we had the space!

Christianity has the most followers worldwide and is based on Jesus' teachings. Christianity has four main traditions (Catholic, Orthodox, Protestant and Pentecostal) all of which are split into different groups with their own beliefs and customs.

• Christianity is now about 2000 years old and it started in the Middle East.
• Christians are people who believe that Jesus is the Son of God and they follow his teachings and those of the Christian churches. 
• Christians believe in one God but that God is broken into three persons (God the Father, God the Son and The Holy Spirit).
• Christian spiritual leaders are called priests or ministers and they worship in churches.
• The Bible is the holy book of Christianity.
