Gay Switchboard helpline

Gay Switchboard goes seven days.

Dublin’s Gay Switchboard has just launched a seven day listening service. Trained volunteers are now available every day to discuss any and all concerns relating to sexuality. The service is completely confidential, non judgemental and non directive – so no one will tell you what to do.

Whether you are looking for info and support on coming out; or contact details of good clubs, the switchboard aims to help out.

The switchboard is open to anyone, including the family and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual to transgender (LGBT) people. All volunteers are trained members of the LGFBT community.

The Helpline service is available Monday to Friday from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and Sat & Sun 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The number is 01-8721055.
