On the pull?!

Pulling with confidence is a task that even the biggest Romeo has to practise to master.

It’s not easy finding the confidence to approach someone, as there is always the chance that you will get knocked back. But don’t let that put you off if you fancy someone and are thinking of pulling- who knows you might be pleasantly surprised!

But they only like blondes.

You cannot judge a person on looks alone, so don’t by put off by how you look or even how they look. It might sound cheesy but it really is true, looks aren’t everything.

No one wants to be with the best looking person if they have a horrible personality and are boring as hell. Everyone has their own best features so use them to good effect. It may be your humour or personality or it may be something different entirely, but whatever it is, use it to good effect. If looks are most important to the person you fancy, are they really someone you wanna be with?

What if they say no?

If you do get knocked back, don’t let it affect your confidence and try not to take it personally. It’s impossible to be successful every time you approach someone. If you were it wouldn’t be as much fun. They may say no for a number of reasons that have nothing to do with you. They may have a girlfriend/ boyfriend or just have come out of a relationship. (Do you wanna date someone on the rebound?)

Don’t let a potential knock back prevent you from asking them out in the first place. It’s worth taking the risk, as who knows, they might actually say yes, and be the love of your life!

I’ll make a fool of myself

It’s true, you might be embarrassed asking someone out, but it will only last for a few minutes and feeling embarrassed is completely different to making a fool out of yourself. If they do decline your offer, just move on. If they are the type of person who tries to humiliate you, it’s better that you find out sooner rather than later. Trust me, they have done you a huge favour.

So now that you are feeling super confident, how about you start practising? As the saying goes, practise makes perfect!
