Rainbows Ireland is a peer-support programme to assist children, youth and adults who are grieving a death, separation or other painful transition in their family. Founded in Chicago, USA in 1983, Rainbows was established in Ireland in 1988. Today Rainbows operates in all thirty two counties of Ireland.
Bethany Bereavement Support group

The Bethany Bereavement Support Group is a voluntary parish based ministry which aims to help the bereaved and grieving. The name Bethany recalls the visit of Jesus to Mary and Martha on the death of their brother Lazarus. Many Bethany members have themselves been bereaved. They are trained to listen with understanding. They accept those suffering loss as they are, and support them through the grieving process.

Console was established in 2002 by Paul Kelly after he had experienced the grief of losing a loved one through Suicide. Through his loss, Paul recognised a need for a dedicated Suicide Prevention, Intervention and Bereavement Support Service here in Ireland. Since then Console has developed into a National Organisation supporting people in Suicidal Crisis and those Bereaved by Suicide through Professional Counselling, Support and Helpline Services. Console has Centres in Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Cork, Wexford, Athlone and Kildare.
