Controlling partners

Is he 2in2u?

Relationships can be exiting, romantic and lots of fun. However, as with everything in life, sometimes there are down sides to relationships.

Maybe you adore your partner, but cringe at his taste in clothing. Or, more seriously, you may feel that you partner is too possessive and jealous and that you can’t breathe in the relationship. Maybe you really like your boyfriend, but are tired of being questioned about where you go or what you do.

Overly possessive and jealous partners may make life stressful, but they are also more likely to become violent, or mentally, emotionally and/or physically abusive. So it is worth having a think about anything that makes you feel uncomfortable in a relationship.

With that in mind, Woman’s Aid has recently designed a quiz to explore these very issues. Just check out the 2IN2U.ie website and fill out the questionnaire there to see if your relationship may be heading down a dangerous road.
