I'm worried about someone self harming

Check out the Pieta House info.

Pieta House, the Centre for the Prevention of Self-Harm, has developed a supportive book for anyone who is worried about someone self harming.

Self harm is a very complex, multi factorial issue and there are no easy answers. You can suggest that your friend check out the free counselling and help at Pieta House.

Pieta House offers a specialised treatment programme for people who have suicidal ideation or who participate in self-harming behaviours. In particular, this centre targets people who have already attempted to take their lives. This service is free of charge.
