It all started with peppermint tea

Bad things can totally lead to good!

For the first time in my life I've tried peppermint tea! You see, I don’t like tea, but lately my body has decided that lying in bed for 2-3 hours finally falling asleep and then waking up around 1am is a healthy sleeping pattern. So I decided to try drinking camomile tea before I go to bed (camomile but that’s not peppermint tea at all where are you going with this). But its 2 am and I don’t want to fall asleep with my nose typing 'Zzzzzzz' on the keyboard (although that would be amazing). So I decided to try peppermint, and after about 10 minutes of staring at the brown liquid like it was a wild animal I worked up the nerve to try a teaspoon. And despite it tasting like hot mouth wash, I liked it.

At this point you are probably wondering where I’m going with this. Well believe it or not I do have a point to make. These are not the insane ramblings of a new found peppermint tea junkie. The point is that my sudden change in sleeping pattern caused me to stumble upon peppermint tea. Which made me realise that even when something seems bad it can make you come across something good. That things can have strange results. For example, my lack of sleep and new found love of minty goodness made me write this strange and a little bit scatter-brained article. I know what you’re thinking, why couldn’t she have bought sleeping pills?
