We all have problems from time to time and sometimes we may want to talk things over with a professional, in the form of counselling or therapy. However we may not always be able to meet with a counsellor face to face for a variety of reasons.
So, Turn2me.org has come up with a good solution to this problem: online counselling.
Online counsellor from Turn2me.org is provided by a fully trained and qualified psychologist certified with the British Psychology Society.
How does it work?
You get 50 minutes of time with your counsellor and the sessions take place online. The sessions can take place via chat or secure email. The chat sessions are held in a secure and private chat window, similar to Instant Messenger, where you can chat in real time and have a two way conversation. You can also communicate with your counsellor via secure therapeutic email.
How much does it cost?
Each session costs €45 and payment is through PayPal.
This form of counselling is not appropriate if you are already seeing a counsellor. However, if you cannot meet a counsellor in the usual way, due to health or privacy issues, this may be a good solution for you.
