  • Hikes in the countryside, enjoying the scenic views and fresh air.
  • Hacking out on a horse.
  • Cooking- trying new recipes without a recipe book!
  • Good, hard physical work, such as mowing the lawn, fixing stuff or cleaning windows.
  • Barefoot walks on the beach.
  • Spicey chai in a mug...warms the hands and heart!
  • Making cards to send to friends and family out of scrap papers and fabrics.
  • Early Sunday morning walks - modern life at its quietest.
  • A long hot shower followed by a slather of creamy lotion...ahhhhh!
  • Lunch solo on an outside bench - no newspaper, no chat, just yummy food, fresh air and maybe a few ducks.
  • Hanging upside down!
  • Swings!
  • A long tight hug from someone you care about.
  • Meditation.
  • A music gig.
  • A spin in the car with your favourite tunes on.
  • Reading – anywhere, anytime – lose yourself in a great story.
  • Any creative pursuit that you can focus on - painting, playing an instrument, writing, making clothes, etc.
  • An impromptu day off work or college.
  • A last minute holiday, be it a picnic in the forest or packing up for a camping trip.
  • Long cycles alone.
  • Walking in or out of town (with the headphones on of course!).
  • Sleepy time

And last but not least...

Sleepy time again.
