In a bad mood

No matter what it is remember that it will pass. Nothing lasts forever.

  • Try and figure out why you’re in a bad mood and think about what you can do to get rid of it.
  • Write all your feelings down on paper. This can be very healing and then you can throw away the paper and forget about it.
  • Go for a walk alone in the fresh air. It will clear your mind so you’ll be able to think clearly.
  • If there’s a lot of anger building up inside you, grab your pillow and beat the crap out of it!
  • Exercise is one of the best things you can do when you feel down. Even though it’s the last thing you want, it gets your heart pumping and releases good hormones.
  • Have a bath with candles or aromatherapy oils (lads can do this too!), pray, meditate or whatever tickles your fancy to relax!
  • Ring a friend for a good ‘ole banter to make you feel more upbeat and organise something to look forward to like a night out, a shopping day or even just catching up on gossip with a coffee.
