Shepherd's pie
This is a budget way of stretching food further, saving you money and keeping your belly full!
Ingredients:
Left over bolognese. (If you don't have left overs you can make the bolognese recipe with out the spaghetti) 1 can of red kidney beans, 5 potatoes, pepper and salt, milk, butter.
- All you need to do is mix the bolognese with a can of red kidney beans.
- Place the mixture in a casserole dish.
- Next wash and cut up your spuds and cook them in boiling water.
- Once cooked, mash them using milk, butter and salt and pepper.
- Fork the mash over the bolognese mixture and bake in a warm oven until the mashed potatoes are golden brown.
