Video: Making Ireland Home.

Ireland has changed a lot over the past decade and it is now home to people of many nationalities, creeds and colours. Ireland truly has become a multicultural country.

However, sometimes growing up in Ireland can be difficult for immigrants.  In response to this, the National Youth Council of Ireland has officially launched Making Ireland Home, a film exploring the experiences of young immigrants produced by the Migrant Rights Centre Ireland.

This film covers the experiences of eleven immigrants between the ages of 18 and 25 from MRCI's mPower Youth Project. The film details their experiences of racism, loneliness and isolation, citizenship problems and education barriers. It also explores the concept of identity and their hopes and dreams for the future.

The film is interesting, educational and inspiring all at once.
