Need help reading or writing?

National Adult Literacy Agency to the rescue.

Do you struggle with writing or reading? Or do you have a parent, close friend or relative who struggles with this? Many people in Ireland today do not have basic literacy skills and struggle with reading, writing or basic maths. This can cause problems with everyday tasks such as filling in forms, reading street signs, budgeting and telling the time.

You are not alone though. According to the National Adult Literacy Agency (NALA), over 500,000 adults in Ireland have literacy difficulties. NALA provide literacy tutoring in groups and in one on one sessions around the country.
