Introducing the iConnect Card
Great savings for under 18s.
If you are still in secondary school, you are in fact a student right? Well, then why do retailers still refuse to give you student prices!? How are you supposed to get discounts without proof of your student status? The answer to all of these problems is the new iConnect ID and discount card, a new card for full time secondary school students.
The iConnect card is being introduced in association with the new youth-connect project operating in schools all over the country. This project aims to enlighten students about the world of work and the rights of under 18s. You do in fact have rights, but you might not know what they are.
- The iConnect card acts as an ID card for under 18s and allows you to get discounts in shops and entertainment centres all over the country.
- Many well known chains such as New Look, Topshop, Topman and Golden Discs have signed up with the iConnect card.
- The card allows you to receive discounts on public transport like Bus Eireann and Citylink.
- The card offers discounted cinema and theatre rates.
- If outdoor sports are your thing, you can use the card for discounts on karting, paintballing and surfing.
- Feeling peckish? Check out Wagamamas or Captain Americas ‘cause the iConnect card allows you to pay less for the same great food.
- If you are bored at the weekend, why not spend a discounted afternoon at the Wax Museum or pottery painting?
- Do you want to learn how to drive? You can even get your lessons cheaper with the iConnect.
- Need your hair done? The iConnect can help you with that too.
- There are loads more discounts, just have a quick look at www.studentcard.ie for a full list.
