Celebrate the end of school!

The best feeling ever has to be finishing school for the summer.

Article by : SpunOut.ie - Rating :

After a year of rising at the crack of dawn and learning things which are about as useful as a hole in the head, the summer holidays cannot come quick enough. The sense of relief and freedom at the ring of the bell on that last day in May has to be the best feeling ever, and if I could bottle and sell it I’m sure I would be an instant millionaire.

So how to celebrate this new found freedom?

Some will go for the books on a bonfire approach or the party 'til you drop technique, while many will simply combine both. Then there are those who just want to experience the feeling of doing absolutely nothing for a change, and what a great feeling that is.

Everyone has different tastes but it’s impossible to beat a party with all your friends. However, I always recommend that the party is somewhere other than your own house, selfish perhaps, but undeniably smart. Who wants to explain a ruined house to their parents or clean up the sick behind the seat? Not me.

For those who want something different, how about having a movie marathon with your friends where you watch all your favourite movies or the latest releases. What could be better than lying back, watching a great comedy with your friends while surrounded by every chocolate bar in the shop. What more can a person want?!

For anyone with a bit more cash (a select few) how about organising a trip somewhere, it can be a holiday in Spain for a week or a weekend camping in Ireland, just so long as it's somewhere different where no one knows you and you can let your hair down.

For all those music fans out there, how about checking out when  and where your favourite band is playing, then snapping up those tickets and going with a group of friends. For all you lucky people who have festival tickets I envy you, and for those who don’t I feel your pain.

Play safely and don’t go too mad. Whatever you decide to do, just make sure you do it in style!
