At some stage in our lives, most of us will want to move out of the family home we grow up in and live with friends, a partner or just ourselves. However, having a disability can make living alone that bit more complex than usual.

The Irish Wheelchair Association provides lots of help and information on housing to those with disabilities and has recently started the ‘Operation Sign-Up’ campaign, which aims to encourage people with a disability to explore their housing options.
