GHB
Liquid ecstasy, GBH...
GHB isn't the same chemical as Ecstasy. It's an anaesthetic drug in liquid or powder form and can cause you to lose consciousness very quickly. It's sometimes used to spike drinks, as the liquid is colourless and tasteless. It's very difficult to know how strong the drug is and the strength might be different every time you take GHB.
What happens when you take GHB:
GHB can make you feel drunk and happy, the effects last for a few hours. It can also cause hallucinations, extreme sleepiness, sickness, convulsions or unconsciousness. It's dangerous to drink alcohol if you've taken GHB as you can easily lose consciousness. It's also very dangerous to use GHB if you have high blood pressure or heart problems.
