Benzos, codeine, tranquilisers, oh my!
Benzodiazepines are a type of prescription drug that works as ‘a downer’ i.e. they make you feel chilled and relaxed. There are a few different types of Benzos and they are available in tablets, injections or in liquid form. They are a prescription only item, but they are also sold on the back market.
They reduce anxiety and stress, help with muscle pain and also help with sleep. However they are very addictive and tend to be the lass class of medicine that a doctor prescribes for anxiety, stress or insomnia.
Valium and Xanax are both well know Benzos.
