Robert Wright

Hi! I'm Rob, this is me and my friend Steph. I’m 17 I live in Knocklyon, Dublin and I go to St. Colmcilles C.S. it's new and shiny! I like it. I do a lot of day dreaming in school, but I usually get my ideas from this. When I’m not in school I’m hanging out with my friends or at least texting 12 of them, on bebo, reading, writing, listening to music or lying in front the TV. I love my friends dunno where id be without them, they really help me be myself. I love to write and I think SpunOut.ie is the greatest invention EVER! I love going to gigs I was at muse in November, all I can say is WOW! I live life to the full and I hate to waste a second of it. I’m creative, and I love meeting new people! Anyway I hope you enjoy the site and I encourage you to get involved!

Andrew Mcloughlin

“Hi, my name is Andrew Mcloughlin and i live in Ballyfermot, Dublin. I am in my sixth and final (thank god) final year, but it is a bit nerve recking with the leaving cert and all, but i'm coping really well syudying away and what not. i really like spun out because i hope to do journalism in college and i thing this is a great way to get involved in a magazine, anyone can join in...It’s great! Well that's really all other than I’m nearly 17, I’ll be 17 on the 28th of January 2007!...so I’ll love ya and leave ya by saying I hope you have a really great time on spunOut! Enjoy it!”

Sandra Plantos

Hey hey hey, I'm Sandra from Dublin. I'm 16, almost 17…in 3 months! I love having fun with my girls...and I love the guys too. I am very artistic; I like painting, drawing and most things that are arty. I looove taking pictures of everywhere I go and especially fun times with friends. I started going to the gym more and I must say I like it there...coming from a person who is as unsporting as I am...hem hem...it's an improvement. I love pancakes and fruit! I like writing about my holidays, embarrassing stories, music, films, school, and everything that teenagers are interested in coz we are living in the same world and living our teenage years which are good and bad! Okay, that's it for the moment.

Michael Stamp

Hi, my name is Michael Stamp; I’m 22 and from Donegal like many other people who write for this website seem to be (come on the rest of the country!) I’ll be writing about a variety of subjects here on SpunOut including 80’s movies, TV, games and music as well as a little on sports. I’ll also be writing about whatever comes into my head in my Stamp’s eye view column. It’ll be sort of like Seinfeld about nothing but hopefully amusing enough. I hope you enjoy my stuff on the site and remember-there’s always someone stupider than you…

Philip Ray

Hello there, my name is Philip and I do a lot of photography work for the site, submitting any photos I think worthwhile and also any photos on subjects that have been requested.  I’m from Portadown, Northern Ireland, I’m 23- yes I’m old! At the moment I'm studying in UBI college and doing a BA hons Degree in creative imaging, which means graphic design and photography.

Images are my strong point; I really don’t do much writing but can do enough to get by. Other things that interest me are definitely cars and car shows. I’m always out and about all over Northern Ireland doing something at the weekends to do with cars and magazines. I also design flyers for a few nightclubs during the week when I’m not studying, which is how I finance my self through college.

Orla Shaughnessy

Howya, Orla here or Shaughs as I am to most of me buds. Currently trying to plod my way through 3rd year in Health Science & Physiology in Sligo I.T. and maybe some fine day become a PE teacher in the big bad world...if I ever get there! I hail from the gorgeous Galway- savage craic to go out in, god knows who you'll meet. Go there if  you haven't been. I’m a massive fan of most sports on the go but GAA wins hands down...come on the camogies!

Love music of all kinds but cant beat the good old 60's, 70's and 80's. I enjoy swimming and cooking (when I can fit it into the college/socialising thing) for me buds, who crave a good chicken risotto dish! All from scratch! I’m open minded and obsessed with telling crap jokes, happy and looking forward to having a house in Jamaica some fine day me thinks!

Colm Lynch

“I'm Colm, aged 16, in transition year, it's awful. I've got a burning passion for music (listening, playing and when possible, going to see concerts), but not what most people would call normal music. I play guitar, am a budding singer-songwriter and also have limited experience at drums, violin, keyboard and banjo! My favourite musicians include the Frames, Josh Ritter(my motivation for taking up guitar), Bell X1, Sigur Rós, dEUS, Elliott Smith, Godspeed You, Black Emperor!... there're really too many to name.

As for sport, I used to play gaeilic, indoor soccer, swim and surf but haven't been out and about lately due to injuries. I love reading- my opinion is that you can't beat a good book, only with another one. Favourite authors include Iain M Banks and Douglas Adams but I've recently discovered a fellow called Alastair Reynolds."
