What’s the story with SpunOut anyway? Who’s calling the shots here?
Take a deep glance into the reflection on your screen. What do you see? No, not the layers of dust!
Right before your eyes is a potential SpunOut shot-caller, a voice for change and a creative energy that will spread inspiration to the thousands of young people in the SpunOut community and beyond.
Young people just like you are the life-blood of SpunOut, providing the energy and vision to make SpunOut bigger and better every day.
So, what’s the story? You tell us. It’s up to you to decide and to let it be known.
We believe that young people don't need to be given a voice. They already have one and a strong one at that. What they need are channels and platforms for participation and active citizenship. SpunOut makes this happen by taking youth participation seriously.
SpunOut has originated from young people's suggestions and has continued to involve young people in a variety of ways including:
- A fully interactive SpunOut.ie where young people debate, dream and discuss via our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and YouTube), article submissions and article commenting.
- Advocacy in the media, at events and at conferences.
