Youth Media Democracy
You've got a democratic right to express yourself, so demonstrate it!
Opportunity for young people to get involved with the Youth Media Democracy conference in Dublin, DIT and Digital Hub on 18 and 19 April 2008.
The conference will showcase an exhibition of youth produced media documenting young people’s vision of the contemporary world and how they believe they can use media to effect change.
Who can get involved:
Young people aged 13 to 18 and youth groups in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
How to get involved:
Find an issue that you, your friends, your family or your community feel strongly about. Make a 3 minute report that documents the youth point of view on this issue. Reports are welcome in any media including audio, video, still image, print and new media.
Reports will be broadcast online and at the Youth Media Democracy conference.
