Volunteers needed for mental health research
Would you like to participate?
Have you experienced mental health problems and are over 18 years of age? If yes, then your help is needed as part of an exciting new research project.
A research team at Dublin City University, in partnership with people who have experienced mental health difficulties, and on behalf of Amnesty International Ireland, are conducting a groundbreaking new study into the experience of discrimination by people with mental health difficulties.
The research team are currently recruiting volunteers in your area to take part in the study, which consists of a short face-to-face or telephone questionnaire. If you are interested in hearing more about this study or think you might like to participate by sharing your experience, DCU would like to hear from you.
Please note involvement in the study is peer-led, completely confidential and there are support networks in place for participants.
If you are interested in participating, please contact: Muriel Redmond tel: 01 700 7923 or email: muriel.redmond@dcu.ie. Please leave (a) your full name (b) your contact phone number and (c) your county location with Muriel or on her voicemail if outside office hours.
