Volunteer to make a difference in the lives of children

The ISPCC is calling on volunteers in the run up to Christmas.

Article by : SpunOut.ie

The Irish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (ISPCC) are calling on people to register as volunteers and take part in any of the ISPCC’s numerous public collections taking place all over the country in the run up to Christmas.  The ISPCC need your help to reach a Christmas target of €250k.

Each year the ISPCC depends on the generosity of the general public to help raise 90% of the funding required to carry out its work. By donating a couple of hours or even a day to help with the collections, you will be helping the ISPCC towards reaching the 2008 fundraising target of €4.5million.

Over the next few months, as part of the ISPCC Christmas Appeal, the organisation will be holding public collections all over Ireland.
