The hunt is on for Ireland's Young Filmmaker 2011
Fresh Film Festival is excited to announce its call for entries for Ireland's Young Filmmaker Awards 2011.
Do you have an idea for a film? Have you made a film already? If so, Fresh Film Festival may be just the event for you.
Fresh Film Festival was founded in 1997 and is specifically programmed for and by young filmmakers and audiences aged 7 - 18. The programme is packed with screenings, events and workshops. At the heart of the festival is Ireland's Young Filmmaker Awards. The festival runs from 28th - 31st March 2011.
There will be lots of awards given at the Festival, including Ireland's Young Filmmaker of the year (Senior and Junior categories), The International Young Filmmaker Award and the judge’s special awards. Fresh also hosts a number of specialist awards, such as the Brownbag Animation Award, the Radharc Trust Documentary Award and RTE 60 Second Short Award. If you don't agree with the judges outcomes, there are also six audience awards decided by the audiences at the competition screenings.
To enter, all you need to do is send in your film by Friday 28th January 2011.
