SpunOut.ie hearing about money?!

There's a business show on the radio always gets me stressed
It's on a Sunday morning – that's right, our day of rest!
Some bright financial guru and his even brighter guests
Talking about money, with which they are obsessed

They speak of stocks and shares and the latest fluctuations
They tell us brand new ways to conduct negotiations
They drink expensive coffee and have clever conversations
About how they're getting on with their financial operations

They start their day of worship at the altar of the pound
Comparing Rolex watches as they pass the cakes around
They cannot quite believe the new fame that they have found
They flex their fiscal muscles, for which they are renowned

Now I don't know about you, but I find it kind of tough
To get up on Sunday morning when I feel a little rough
And from the nearest radio, I'm greeted with this stuff
I mean, do these money worshippers never get enough?

Whatever your religion, I think Sunday's for the soul
To give your life a breather from the daily rigmarole
It's not a day for striving to achieve your “business goal”
Or bragging about money that you made, borrowed or stole
