Speak out on trade justice

Talk to your European Parliament candidates about Europe's trade policy.

In June 2009, elections to the European Parliament will take place across Europe.

The run-up to the elections is an opportunity to put opposition to Europe’s unfair trade deals on the political agenda and to help bring about a fairer approach to Europe’s trade with poor countries.

Comhlámh, the organisation that works for global justice and human rights, is calling for people to take action in an EU wide campaign opposing Europe’s unfair trade deals. You can find out about Europe’s trade deals, via the Comhlámh website here.

Comhlámh wants you to help get constituents talking to their MEP candidates. With this campaign, Comhlámh hopes to ensure that our EU representatives work to bring about an EU which puts sustainable development and global justice at the heart of all of its policies, especially where trade policy is concerned.
