Saturday night
Your poetry here on SpunOut.ie.
Disco lights flash
Hypnotising all around,
The music pumps from surround sound.
Walls vibrating with the hottest beats
Arms wave wildly, shuffling feet.
Three Brazilians step in sync
moving together without a care
Their baggy trousers slung low around their hips,
bandanas encase their corn-row hair.
The crowd watch and clap in awe
As they move choreographed around the floor.
Small shot glasses are filled
and lined in a row
A count down from three
thrown back in one go.
