Event: Bringing democracy back to the people.
Re:Public2011 is a not-for-profit independent campaign launched by young musicians and artists to promote and encourage a fairer, more inclusive democracy in Ireland. The campaign aims to raise awareness of politics and provide as much unbiased information to the general public as possible.
As part of the campaign, Re:Public2011 is holding an evening of political debate (with comedy and musical entertainment).

Tickets €2 per person.
Candidates from each political party, along with some independents, will present themselves and answer public questions. These answers will then be relayed through twitter and text messages. The event will also be streamed live on the Re: Public2011 website generalelection.ie/republic2011/. Users can send in questions for the candidates via twitter and text.
