Lights Out
National film festival for young people - calling for volunteers!
Lights Out is a new film festival for young people aged 6 – 16, taking place in Dublin and at venues around the country. There will be an exciting programme of films workshops and master classes for young people and their families.
The Irish Film Institute (IFI) is looking for volunteers in the IFI, 6 Eustace St., Dublin 2., where the festival kicks off on July 12th.
Would you like to be involved? Are you over 18? Do you have experience working with young people? Do you have experience of working or volunteering in arts events? Could you spare 10 hours during our Festival week?
In return for your time with the festival you will have the possibility of:
Getting experience working with young people in an exciting atmosphere.
Working as part of a team.
Working in one of Ireland’s leading cultural institutes.
Contributing to the development of a brand new film festival for young people.
Learning about film, filmmaking and the industry.
Observing facilitators carrying out film workshops.
