Depression Awareness Week
Support organisation Aware speaks out with the message: You are not alone.
This is Depression Awareness Week, organised by Aware (the depression support organisation). The campaign aims to encourage more people to access the support services offered by Aware, no matter whether you are concerned about depression yourself, or if you are concerned for a family member or friend.

Anyone who is concerned about depression can access Aware’s support services, which include a LoCall helpline (1890 303 302) open 365 days a year as well as an email support service and support groups across the country.

Aware is a national voluntary organisation providing support through depression. The organisation undertakes to create a society where people with depression are understood and supported, are free from stigma, and have access to a broad range of appropriate therapies to enable them to reach their full potential.
