Cross dressing explained.

• Cross dressing is the desire or interest in dressing, behaving or appearing like the opposite sex.
• It doesn’t mean that you or gay, lesbian or bisexual and it doesn’t mean that you want to change your sex from man to woman or woman to man.
• Many people refuse to accept anything that’s different to their idea of normal and unfortunately this can make it tough to be openly transvestite or transsexual here.
• If you’re being discriminated against, contact a Citizens Advice Bureau or the Equality Commission in Northern Ireland or the Equality Authority in Ireland.
