Concern creative writing competition
Write a letter to President Obama on the issues that matter.
The newly elected American president Barrack Hussein Obama is a very busy man but YOU have a chance to write him a letter telling him about some critical issues facing the world today. Could you help him to understand the life of a child who goes to work instead of school? Maybe you can describe how climate change is affecting people in developing countries? Or perhaps you can advise him on how to tackle world hunger to improve the lives of millions of people worldwide.
Concern invites young people to write a letter to Barrack Obama in the style of a factual essay or fictional story based on one of these critical issues:
- Child Labour
- Climate change and the developing world
- World hunger
