Bullying poem
Poem about bullying from a SpunOut.ie contributor.
SpunOut.ie Youth Board member, Michelle O'Connor, speaks out about bullying.
Why do people bully?
To show that they are big?
Why do people bully?
To show us they're a pig?
Bullying happens everyday.
Silence is only what keeps the victims at bay.
Silence does nothing
About the situation.
Silence does nothing
But carries on.
Victims need help to keep going on.
Nobody knows what happens.
Nobody knows so how can they help?
Speak out!
Is what the teachers say
How can you if your safety is at bay?
How do they know what you should say?
How do they know how to keep the bullies at bay?
Bullies don't care of what you think.
Bullies don't care of what you say.
After all, bullies don't care about you anyway.
Somebody does though.
Somebody cares.
Somebody should know
Of how you are scared.
People need to know what is going on.
People need to know who the bullies are.
People or peoples always care.
You are never alone unless you make yourself alone.
Tell someone so you can feel happy and loved, not sad and alone.
Find out more about bullying and how to stop a bully.
