Active Citizenship Week

Junior Chamber International Ireland are running an Active Citizenship Week from October 3rd to 10th. The aim of the week is to create awareness of all the great things that people are doing around Ireland. By creating awareness of the excellent work being done, we hope to can encourage more people to become Active Citizens.

By visiting the website www.fifty-ways.com you can meet the mascot Active Alfie, who will provide lots of volunteering advice on how to become an active citizen. In addition, the campaign is asking people to pledge to do 1 of 50 simple tasks that will help them in the mission to become an active citizen.
