What's going on in Irish global justice

Check out Comhlámh's new events calendar!

Comhlámh is an Irish organisation that advocates for social justice, human rights and sustainable development. The organisation runs regular courses and workshops for the public and sets up activist groups and initiatives.

They also run a variety of events throughout the year.  To make their events easier to find, they have recently developed an easy to read calendar with a list of all their events. Click here to check it out.

The calendar contains loads of cool workshops, seminars and exhibits and you can click through the various months to see what’s happening.

Upcoming November events

  • The Story of Coffee. This is an exhibit of illustrations by Sari Nordberg on the origins of coffee in the Kaffa region of Ethiopia. It is organised by African Cultural Project in association with Wexford County Council Public. It finishes today, the 18th of November.
  • IIEA: Economic Adjustment in Monetary Union. This  seminar will take place on the 21st November from 12.30-14.00 at the Where Institute for International and European Affairs (IIEA), 8 North Great Georges Street, Dublin 1.
  • The World’s Your Oyster. This course examines issues such as global poverty, climate change, HIV and volunteering. It takes place on the 26th of November in The Irish Aid Volunteering and Information Centre, 27-31 Upper O'Connell St. Dublin.

There are absolutely tons more events going on; the list above is just a sprinkling.
