Key to a home collection

Volunteer opp: Focus Ireland needs your help!

Focus Ireland, the Irish charity that works to end homelessness, is holding its third annual ‘Key to a Home’ collection from Friday the 18th of November to Sunday the 20th of November.

The aim of the event is to raise awareness and funds for Focus Ireland. Volunteers will work in teams selling key rings in Dublin, Limerick, Waterford, Kildare, Louth, Meath and Wicklow over these three days. Volunteers will sell key rings in shopping centres, collect at churches or pack bags at supermarkets.

If this sounds like something you would be interested in, Focus Ireland could do with your helping hand! All volunteers will take part in briefing sessions before the campaign so that they will know what to expect in their role, as well as learning about the work of Focus Ireland and the chief aims of the campaign.

If you would like to volunteer, simply register on the ‘Key to a Home Collections’ page on www.focusireland.ie or contact Monique McKenna on 01-8815916 or at mckennam@focusireland.ie.

Check out some footage from  last year’s event in the vid below.

Focus Ireland, the housing and homeless charity, works to prevent people becoming, remaining or returning to homelessness through the provision of quality services, supported housing and advocacy. Founded in 1985 by Life President Sr. Stanislaus Kennedy, we work with young people, single adults and families and believe that everyone has a right to a place called home which is safe, secure and appropriate to their needs.
