Help protect children in the next Budget 2012.
There are over 90,000 children in Ireland living in consistent poverty. Consistent poverty is when a household does not have enough money to buy basic things such as a winter coat, shoes or fuel. The lives of children living in consistent poverty is already very difficult, yet further cuts to welfare, health and education are possibly in the mix for Budget 2012, which could put even more of these children at risk.
Barnardos would like your support to help raise awareness of this critical issue. They have set up a petition and are inviting any and all to sign it before November 30th.
