Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign
Do you know what IPSC is all about?
Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) was set up in 2001 and its aim is to help raise awareness of the plight of Palestinians as well as to move towards a solution in Israel.
What are IPSC campaigns all about?
Stop involvement in ‘apartheid wall’:
The general aim of this campaign is to raise awareness of the plight of the Palestinian people; to inform the Irish people of the situation in Israel; and to encourage the Irish government to pressurise Israel to end the so-called apartheid against Palestinians.
‘Apartheid Free Zones’:
This campaign encompasses stickers and other ways of generating publicity for the situation in Palestine. The aim is to spread awareness and thus get people to boycott Israeli goods such as diamonds, certain types of DIY tools and many citrus fruits sold in supermarkets. The goal is to see if you can help turn your community into an ‘apartheid free zone.’
Boycott Israeli goods campaign:
Similar to the above, but this step can be taken on an individual and personal level.
Political Lobbying:
This campaign encourages you to write to various figures and politicians and to get the word out.
How you can help:
Join the IPSC, subscribe to their mailing lists, and get involved with your local branch. If you are flush with cash, you can also always donate some dosh.

The IPSC was set up in late 2001 by a group of established Irish human rights and community activists, academics and journalists who were deeply concerned with the current situation in the Occupied Territories. In partnership with Palestinians now living in Ireland the IPSC was formed to provide a voice for Palestine in Ireland.
