Che Guevara, Gandhi and Martin Luther King are all famous people from the past who through courage, action and belief in a fairer more just world, dedicated their lives to a selfless cause. Their actions continue to live on in the inspiration and hope their names hold for millions of people around the world today.
Though many of the causes they fought for have been realised, many have not and poverty, injustice, human rights abuses, war and economic greed still plagues our modern world.
In this section we profile just some of the modern day activists who strive to make our world a more equal and better place for all and who dare to speak for those without a voice.
