Check out fund:it to bring your ideas to life.
Have you got a great idea that you’d love to develop, but can’t due to lack of cash. Have you an already established product that is low on funding? If so, the new Fund:it initiative may be just the ticket for you.
Fund:it is an new Irish initiative that provides a platform for people to market their ideas and to get funding from friends and followers via the web and social networks. Fund:it offers support for any creative project under the following categories:
- Art
- Craft
- Design
- Event
- Fashion
- Film and TV
- Food
- Games
- Media and Publishing
- Music
- Performance
- Science and Technology
Fund:it was created by Business to Arts.
It is funded under the New Stream programme, supported by Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and via the support of a technology grant from the Department of Arts, Heritage & Gaeltacht. Further support has been received from the Vodafone Ireland World of Difference programme and the British Council Ireland.
How it works: You write up the details of your project and the fund it team will work with you to make your submission look as good as it can. You must be based in Ireland and be aged 18 or over to submit a project.
How to submit a project: Simply register with the website and click the ‘submit’ button to send your details to the project terms. Check out the ‘hints and tips’ section for further details on submission guidelines.
